Dia das bandeiras Verdes 2017- Galardão Eco-Escolas
ClimACT was present on the Dia das bandeiras Verdes 2017- Galardão Eco-Escolas/Day of Green Flags 2017- Eco-Schools Awards that took place on 27 September in Mafra, Portugal. On this day, ABAE recognized the work of all those who have contributed to making the school and the local community more sustainable during the school year 2016/2017, through the delivery of the green eco-schools flag. Dozens of partners (schools, universities, research institutions and companies) were presented providing diverse activities to the approximately 4000 participants from schools from all the country and also for all Mafra inhabitants. The mayor of Mafra honored the opening of the event appreciating the work of all the present partners. ClimACT project was present and represented by Joana Lage, from IST, where educational activities were developed and experienced by more than 200 students
