ClimACT – VIDEO of working day with students and teachers (Seville)
“On 20th March 2018, members of the University of Seville of the Higher Technical School of Engineering and the Higher Technical School of Architecture organized a working day with students and teachers at the Institute of Secondary Education Chaves Nogales (Seville) within the framework of the European project Interreg Sudoe ClimACT.
This event involved an awareness campaign and work in the educational community of one of the pilot centres of the project in Seville (IES Chaves Nogales). Activities with reuse of materials and use of renewable energy were performed, involving the deployment of the ClimACT methodology, which has the support of Gianluca Stasi, of the Ctrl + Z Study, with great experience in the development of awareness campaigns in educational centres developing geodesic structures through reused material. During the day, children worked on the construction of a structure using blind slats as support material, developed solar cars with photovoltaic technology and built solar ovens.”
